it was the season of Light,it was the season of Darkness;
這是光明的季節，也是黑暗的季節;
it was the spring of hope,it was the winter of despair;
這是希望的春天，也是絕望的冬天;
we had everything before us,we had nothing before us;
我們什麼都有，也什麼都沒有;
we were all going directly to Heaven,we were all going the other way.
我們全都會上天堂，也全都會下地獄。

雖然沒看過這本書也不知道是在寫什麼，但我很喜歡這段話的感覺。

有種看穿塵世的無奈感，有種雖然身處其中卻身為異類的感覺。

那種疏離感真的有種令人着迷的魔力。
